“Reinventing The Spindle” is an art project by Ebru Kurbak, carried out in framework of the 2019 LACMA Art + Technology grant. The project aims to conduct microgravity and low-gravity investigations of textile production, using these experiments as a basis for greater conversation around the ramifications of space colonization.
